Locale
Although one of the smallest real estate districts throughout the city, this area offers a wide assortment of diverse clothing and antique shops, excellent dining options and cozy cafes all adding to the unique and eclectic vibes of the area as a whole. Because of the rather artistic feeling that Main Street puts out, it has now become known as somewhat of a hipster scene, welcoming a great amount of younger more creative professionals to seek out residence in.
Real Estate
The Main Street Real Estate includes a larger number of houses for sale as well as townhouses for sale. Though these two take up most of the real estate within this area, it is also very possible to find a few great condos for sale. The home values are very widely spread out to the point where you could easily find a house well over the $1 million mark just a few doors down from a house well under $1 million. Many homes, although they may appear a little rough around the outside edges have in fact been newly and beautifully renovated inside. The real estate options within Main Street are remarkably diverse and full of potential.
Education Institution
Because of the number of educational options found in Main Street, this neighborhood is in fact quickly becoming known as a very up and coming place of residence for families especially. From the six public secondary schools and high schools to the three private school options in the area, this gives families a wide range of choices when it comes to education.
With a combination of an excellent downtown full of cafes, restaurants and shopping, great schools as well as significantly lower real estate price options in comparison to surrounding areas, it will be no surprise to see an increase of population here within the next few years.
